The project was accomplished by the Foundation in association with the Italian Naval League of Palermo, to build a floating jetty with equipment and devices that allow disabled users to access the boats. This project follows the former one, likewise supported by the Foundation, to purchase four Hansa 303 boats which are suitable for competitive activities with disabled people and a van to transport them. This is closely connected to another project accomplished with the contribution of the Foundation and proposed by the Panathlon International Club of Palermo, concerning the installation of a floating structure in the same Cove to be used as a locker room and services for less fortunate athletes.
