Abel Ferrara reads poems by Gabriele Tinti, inspired by Salvator Rosa’s The torture of Prometheus

In collaboration with the Fondazione Cultura e Arte, the National Galleries of Ancient Art host the well-known director and actor, Abel Ferrara, in the Corsini Gallery for a poetry reading by Gabriele Tinti, inspired by the painting, The Torture of Prometheus, a masterpiece by Neapolitan painter Salvator Rosa. The event is part of the series of live readings recited in front of Classical sculptures and Renaissance paintings. In recent years, the project has involved several important participants and major museums worldwide, including: Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, J. Paul Getty Museum and LACMA in Los Angeles, British Museum in London, Glyptothek in Monaco, Archeological Park of the Colosseum, National Roman Museum of Rome, Capitoline Museums, Ara Pacis Museum, Archeological Museum of Naples, as well as many others.
