The Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio, the largest European multi-ethnic ensemble, held a concert in Malta in support of the Emanuele Cancer Research Foundation. The concert was promoted by Fondazione Cultura e Arte, an instrumentality of Fondazione Terzo Pilastro Internazionale chaired by Professor Emmanuele F. M. Emanuele of Villabianca and Baron of Culcasi, after whom the research centre is named.
The Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio, composed of talented musicians from over 10 countries, performed popular classical pieces with a unique ethnic twist, at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta, on April 24th. The Malta Airport Foundation, Green Tube, Juanafil Consultants, the Italian Cultural Institute, Valletta Cultural Agency, Malta Tourism Authority and the Ministry for Tourism supported the event.
