Fondazione Roma - Mediterraneo contributed to the preparation of workshops for the rehabilitation of disabled children in Ali Sabieh and Arta, Djibouti. A doctor and two specialised physiotherapists have been able to hold training courses in these centres for the purpose of involving a local group of mothers in the rehabilitation process of their children.
 This project was accomplished in partnership with the Associazione Mediterraneo Senza Handicap which, both at a national and international level, plans and implements cultural, scientific and informative activities and is mainly engaged in launching innovative and/or experimental training courses for disabled persons and their families. The association also works in the field of education, professional training and university cooperation with the aim of fostering the development of Global South countries and encouraging international support.
